Next month sees the start of the Islamic annual festival, Ramadan. So, we thought we would dedicate our April post to this special time. Ramadan is an auspicious time observed by Muslims worldwide and is to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to the prophet Muhammed. Fasting is obligatory for adult Muslims during this period of 30 days. While fasting from dawn until sunset, Muslims refrain from consuming food & drinking liquids. Food and drinks are served daily, before dawn and after sunset. Spiritual rewards for fasting are also believed to be multiplied within the month of Ramadan. Fasting for Muslims during Ramadan typically includes the increased offering of prayers and recitation of the Quran.
Ok, so now you know what Ramadan is all about in that bite-sized amount, time to tell you why we are really posting about! What we will always blog about! Sweets, chocolates, snacks and beverages…this post is especially dedicated to our Halal munchers. We offer over 20 different products all suitable for Halal diets and it’s an area that is growing fast not only for us but the whole of the food industry globally. Our range is a varied mix of sweets, snacks and beverages that contain NO animal products whatsoever. Not a stitch. Making them completely safe and suitable for Halal diets.
What does this all have to do with promotional products?
One of the golden rules of marketing is to engage with your audience and capture their attention. Yes, your beautiful artwork branded on a scrumptious tin of sweets will look amazing but how disappointing that the recipient might not be able to enjoy those scrumptious sweets! There are approx. 3 million Muslims living in the UK most of which follow a Halal diet and they add £31 billion to the UK’s economy.
Food for thought?
